The Observer time and change through their stories and headlines like racism, sexism and patriarchy shown in the headlines:

Briton shoots for gold is about the olympics, there were white British men wearing black gloves to stand up for race equality, they were then disqualified and the article refered to these african men as 'negroes' this is said to degrade these young African men. This shows that in the 1960s people were wanting equality but some elites did not allow this.
